Greater Houston Partnership Statement on the Inauguration of Biden/Harris

The Greater Houston Partnership congratulates President Biden and Vice President Harris on their historic inauguration. The peaceful transition of power is a hallmark of our democracy, and one which provides the certainty and stability important to our business community and all Americans. The Partnership looks forward to the opportunity to work with the new administration on policies important to the Houston region.
 
After what has been a difficult year of responding to the COVID pandemic and the associated economic downturn, and especially after the turbulent events of January 6th, the need to unite and work together as Americans is more important than ever. 

The Partnership has outlined our federal priorities for the 117th Congress, and we look forward to working with our congressional delegation on the issues most important to the Houston region.
