State of the Airports

Tickets and tables are now available! The Greater Houston Partnership invites you to the State of Airports on Tuesday, December 5, as Jim Szczesniak, Director of Aviation, outlines the next history-making chapter for Houston Airports.  Szczesniak, appointed Director of Aviation in February 2024, is challenged with leading Houston Airports into its next era – one that includes autonomous aircraft, sustainable fuels and Houston becoming the only city in the world with two 5-Star Skytrax airports.   The annual address will delve into expansion projects underway at the Houston Spaceport, George Bush Intercontinental Airport and William P. Hobby Airport on the heels of Houston Airports welcoming a record-setting 60.1 million passengers in 2023.  The audience will be among the first to get a glimpse into the new international terminal at Bush Airport. Szczesniak looks forward to sharing insights on one of the most modern terminals in the U.S.  Jim’s inaugural address will be followed by a fireside chat with Retired NASA Astronaut and current Intuitive Machines Senior Vice President of Production & Operations Jack “2Fish” Fischer, making this a one-of-a-kind event. As a sponsor, your brand will be front and center as we bring together leaders from across industries to explore how Houston Airports will grow, innovate, and redefine air travel. Reserve your seat now for a presentation that promises to deliver a bold, fresh plan for Houston Airports, an economic engine poised to double its passenger totals by 2050.
