Hong Ogle
Hong is the president of Bank of America Houston. In this role, she is responsible for connecting clients, teammates, and communities to the full power of the franchise, driving integration across our eight lines of business. She also leads the effort to deploy Bank of America’s resources to help advance economic mobility and build strong communities.
In addition to her role as Houston President, Hong is the Southeast/Southwest Division Executive for Bank of America Private Bank. In this role, Hong has the responsibility in supervising Private Bank offices located across the Southern states to deliver top financial solutions to Ultra-High Net Worth clients and related institutions.
Hong started her financial services career in the early 90’s and her first leadership role in 1999. She later joined Bank of America in a leadership position in 2010.
Born and raised in Beijing, China, Hong received her bachelor’s degree from Tsinghua University before coming to the U.S. in 1990 for graduate studies and earning her Master of Science degree from Florida State University.
Hong has received many awards including Houston’s Most Admired CEO’s Award by the Houston Business Journal and Most Powerful Women in Banking and Finance: Top Team in Banking by American Bankers. She serves on the board of Greater Houston Partnership (GHP) and Central Houston Inc. and chairs the Bank of America Charitable Foundation in Houston. She is also a member of the Bank of America Global Diversity and Inclusion Council.
