Lynne Liberato currently serves as the Partnership's co-chairman of Houston's Greatest, the annual event celebrating Houston business and business leaders. She is also a member of the Executive Committee. Liberato is a partner at Haynes and Boone, L.L.P. in its Houston office. She is also a member of the firm's board of directors and its appellate section. Board certified in civil appellate law, Liberato has argued cases to the U.S. Supreme Court and other state and federal appellate courts. In 2000, she was elected president of the State Bar of Texas and led the bar to its preeminent position in providing member services through its web portal. She is also past chair of the State Bar Board of Directors. In 1993, Liberato was elected the first woman president of the Houston Bar Association. Liberato is currently a member of numerous boards and committees, including the United Way of Texas Gulf Coast, where she chairs its Hurricane Ike Task Force, is a former chairman of the board and was named Volunteer of the Year in 2008.
