Mike Lewis
Mike Lewis serves as a Managing Director and Partner with the Boston Consulting Group (“BCG”) and is Head of BCG’s Houston Office. Boston Consulting Group is a global consulting firm that partners with leaders in business and society to tackle their most important challenges and capture their greatest opportunities. BCG was founded in 1963 and now has 25,000 employees, offices in 100+ cities around the world, and $11B in revenue.
Mike joined BCG in Houston in 2007 and immediately began serving clients in the energy industry, which has continued to be his area of focus throughout his time with the firm. He has served clients on a broad range of topics, including Operations, Strategy, Organization, Digital, and Climate & Sustainability. He served as the global leader of BCG’s Change & Program Management Topic from 2017-2021 and has served as the Head of the Houston Office since March 2018.
Prior to his time at BCG, Mike was a Manager in the financial audit practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers, also in Houston, where he supported energy, healthcare, and higher education clients. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree, cum laude, in Accountancy and History from the University of Notre Dame and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Virginia, where he won the Faculty Award for Academic Excellence.
He has supported the Greater Houston Partnership for many years on several initiatives, including economic development, UpSkill, PartnerUp, and Higher Education United with Business (the “HUB”). He looks forward to deepening his involvement with the Partnership as a Board member.
