Sheel is the Founder & CEO of Amplo, a global venture capital firm helping build companies that matter. The Amplo portfolio spans 6 continents and includes companies in financial technology, artificial intelligence, education, mental health, and software.  Amplo is an investor in BharatPe, Helm.ai, Lightyear.ai, Travelperk, Two Chairs, and nearly 50 other startups.  

As an angel investor, Sheel has invested in the seed or Series A of Andela, Casper, Flutterwave, Ironclad, and Robinhood. Sheel graduated from Stanford University in three years, at the age of 19. He is a World Economic Forum Global Shaper, and was on the Forbes 30 under 30 list in 2013.

He holds a JD from Harvard Law School and is a member of the State Bar of Texas. He is a member of the Board of Directors for the Greater Houston Partnership and the JFK Presidential Library.
